How I knew Liliana was the one before I ever met her.
I remember walking through the ancient streets of Vienna growing up and feeling my future wife energetically. I could sense her inside my heart, as an energy and as a thought, a quiet question of whether she might be around the next corner.
It felt real, and at the same time my mind wanted to doubt it, telling me that I was just making things up or imagining something that was not there.
My soul was looking for her, and my soul also knew when it was not her. In hindsight it makes sense, and I can remember moments when I felt a clear intuitive insight that this woman was not her, and that was simply it.
When Liliana and I met, there was truth. I knew who I was, where I wanted to go, and what mattered to me in a relationship, as did she.
We both had to go through a journey to be ready for one another. The experiences we lived and the soul lessons we learned allowed the alignment between us to exist with such clarity and depth.
One thing Liliana and I shared was a deep commitment to our inner work, to moving through what stood in the way, to embodying our truth, and to finding each other. The work was not optional for us, it was our life, and I do not mean chasing spiritual ideas but going into the places that needed to be seen and met.
Because of that, we recognized each other when we met. The questioning inside me about whether this was the one came to a complete stop. It simply disappeared. I knew she was, and she knew I was.
There were logistical challenges at the beginning, but they did not matter to us. We knew inside our hearts that this was it, and we organized our lives around that knowing. Liliana was about to leave Vienna and return to England, and when she told me, I made a decision in that moment and said that if she was going, I was coming with her. She told me that I did not have to, and I told her that I knew, but that I wanted to. We both knew we could have made something work even in imperfect circumstances, but when you recognize the love of your life, you step fully into what is true and organize the rest of your life around it.
Logistics, situations, and circumstances only seem important when love is not fully chosen. When you experience real love, they stop being the deciding factor.
What does it matter where we are if we have found the love of our lives?
I would rather be in the coldest and wildest places in the world with Liliana than in any kind of paradise without her. And I mean that, truly.
The universe, the creator, the highest intelligence moves us through a journey in which we become the energetic match for the partner we are meant to meet. We learn the soul lessons that shape us so that when we finally meet them, we are able to see clearly and choose each other.
In practical terms, attracting a conscious partner is a process of becoming rather than trying to get something. It is about who you are shaped into along the path and whether that person is able to hear the calling in their soul and recognize love when it arrives.
When you meet them, you want to be clear about your commitment and your devotion, not still stuck or confused about your life.
There may be times when it feels like nothing is happening, but something is always unfolding. A process of becoming is taking place.
Ask yourself in this moment if you are on the journey of drawing in your conscious partner:
Is who you are currently becoming an energetic match for the right partner?
