The feminine is the wave.
The masculine is the presence that holds it.
What does that mean?
Here’s the perfect example:
My wife says to me, I don’t feel seen by you.
My mind instantly fragments: But we just had an incredible day. An hour ago, she told me she felt so deeply seen. What does she mean?
If I say that out loud, she’ll feel even more unseen.
Because the feminine doesn’t think in time.
She thinks in feeling.
The feeling of not being seen is alive in her body right now. And it’s real. Not because she’s irrational but because she cares.
It’s not about yesterday. Not about last week. Not about three years ago.
It’s not a summary or a hidden accusation.
It’s the moment.
But the masculine hears it as an attack.
It cuts. It triggers the story of I’m not enough.
Now listen: both carry responsibility here.
If the feminine says: You never see me. You don’t love me. I always feel alone with you.
That lands like a bomb.
It shuts the masculine down.
But expecting the feminine to deliver her truth in precise, clock-ticking, analytical form is ridiculous. This is simply not the nature of the feminine.
She doesn’t feel unseen for 5 minutes and 36 seconds.
She feels it. Now. Fully.
Because she wants more connection, more love, more depth.
The masculine has to stop defending.
Stop collapsing into the story.
Stay.
Stay present.
And the feminine:
Don’t let the shadow hijack your truth.
Speak from the body. From the heart. Not from blame. This is about allowing your heart’s truth to land, and not for your shadow to rip the masculine apart and to project.
When the masculine holds the wave and the feminine expresses from truth instead of absolutes, something sacred happens.
Walls collapse.
Love deepens.
The relationship evolves.
The feminine is not wrong for feeling deeply.
The masculine is not wrong for needing clarity.
They are meant to meet.
Not battle.
Not prove.
Meet.
As the masculine, your invitation is this:
Drop the story. Stop counting minutes. Stop correcting her.
Be there. Fully. Even when it feels messy. Especially then.
As the feminine, your invitation is this:
Stop speaking like it’s the end of the world. Don’t attack the man you want to feel safe with.
Speak your heart. Let him rise in the presence of your truth.
