My father and I always had a challenging relationship. He wanted me to become a renowned physicist, or mathematician, while I was interested early on in emotional intelligence, the understanding of what drives us humans from within, and solving psychologically rooted challenges.
After his early death due to cancer, I was left with no role model. I looked for a framework, I looked for something I could aspire to become, but I was repeatedly left disappointed.
I felt lonely because the people and peers around me were not interested in self-mastery or about creating a life of deep meaning and purpose. I tried to fit in, I tried to put on a mask, yet deep down I felt incredibly empty because I received validation for something I was not. I knew, if I would really be 100% authentically me, the people around me would not know how to handle it.
So a time of deep solitude began in my life and my awareness moved inwards. I spent years in nature, going on long treks, sitting in specific spots in nature and meditating, training my breath, looking for guidance from within, to get away from the noise and be able to listen to my inner voice.
I didn’t know then that this was part of my training, part of my journey of learning to sharpen my intuition, to learn to listen and hear my deeper calling from within. Then it just felt like a pull, I felt like drifting in two worlds, one where I tried to fit in but had to put on a mask, and one that felt so different, yet so empowering.
I became very reserved and spent as much time as possible in solitude. I was on a deep internal mission, yet plagued by a deep fear of uncertainty and not knowing where this journey would lead me.
But something kept me going. Brief moments of freedom while I was training my breath in nature, moments of awakening where my heart was blasted open and I felt an incredible love, strength, and peace wash over me.
These moments were enough to ignite a flame within me, that is burning stronger than ever before today.
I realized that I had to guide myself out of my own pain. I realized that I was being asked to become that which is missing in the world. I realized that all the sacrifices were worth it as eventually I would be led to where I am meant to be.
So many men struggle with loneliness, a deep sense of uncertainty in their journey, attachments in relationships or conversely, commitment issues, and a disconnect from their purpose. Much of this has to do with there being no clear framework or path for men to step into their power and release what no longer serves them.
If you want to step into your own truth and forge your own path, have full clarity about your path, whether it is your purpose, or in your relationship with the feminine. , click here to see my upcoming training courses or click here to access past recordings.
