Love itself does not cause pain. What hurts is releasing the illusions we have created around love.
Love is the ultimate teacher. It illuminates the parts of ourselves that prevent us from experiencing the purest form of love.
When we run from love, or chase after it, we are avoiding the natural process of letting go of certain parts within ourselves that need to change or transform.
The journey towards home, the journey into the heart, the journey into love, requires us to surrender and release everything that is not aligned with the highest truth—because truth is love, and love is truth.
Ultimately, the journey of love is the journey of awakening.
Our limiting beliefs about love and the self-sabotaging patterns we repeat are what keep us from evolving in consciousness and experiencing true love.
Two powerful questions to ask yourself: What is the highest form of love asking me to release? Or, what is standing between me and experiencing the deepest love?
The answer to this is key to not only having a fulfilling intimate life but also evolving in your consciousness.
This is why I consider relationships one of the most profound spiritual paths. They challenge us to evolve in order to connect more deeply.
If you resist the highest form of love, there will be pain. However, if you surrender and let go of the parts that no longer serve you, the path will become clear, and you will be guided by love.
What parts of yourself are you still holding on to that are preventing you from experiencing the deepest love?
