This week I spoke with two of the biggest media houses in the world about why people struggle in their singlehood, why they run from emotional closeness, and why so many relationships stall the moment vulnerability and true presence are required.
I was told the entire teams leaned in and listened. Something deeper was touched. A moment of truth.
Bringing this depth of work to a mainstream audience was a relief to my soul. It confirmed what I have long known – that the need is undeniable. The world is starving for heart centered masculinity and healing in relationships.
Here is the blunt truth I shared:
Most people say they want love. What they really want is an escape from the pain they never learned to hold.
The minute intimacy asks for realness, they pull away. Our entire concept of love has been distorted.
So when things get raw, messy, and complicated, people panic and ask, Is something wrong with me?
No. This is the doorway.
The moment you realize your relationships are exposing you, is the moment your evolution begins.
Relationships are not soft. They are a crucible.
You cannot meditate your self sabotage away when intimacy arrives and your nervous system panics.
You cannot out-perform fear and expect it to disappear.
When real love shows up, old coping patterns often rise to the surface more intensely.
You will be triggered.
You will be terrified.
You will want to run.
And this is exactly where truth lives.
No more avoiding. No more bypassing. Enter the fire.
One interviewer asked me: So is your message that all people are damaged?
My answer: Yes and no.
We all carry dysfunction. Denial never helps. Damage is not a life sentence, but an invitation to step into your soul’s truth.
Hope without truth is fantasy. I am not here for cheap optimism. I am here for truth. If truth cracks me open, feels like a dagger inside my heart but aligns me with my soul, I choose that battle every time.
The mess in relationships is a sacred opportunity for deeper evolution. Love reveals the entirety of who you are. You cannot outrun yourself.
In the mirror of love, your soul’s truth is revealed.
Where your soul is hiding.
And not yet shining.
If you are willing to burn in the flames of honest love, you will be liberated.
I chose this path not knowing how intense it would be. Not knowing how much it would free me. But in that choice lay my awakening. The essence of my soul took a deep breath and began to live again.
The path of evolution is the path of love. How could it be any other way?
So I ask you: where is your intimate life still revealing that you are running away from yourself?
Whether it is through dynamics that do not serve you or through those that expose you, your intimate life is telling you a story, the story of truth.
Listen. Feel its whisper. It is calling you to grow, to mature into the person you were always meant to be.
