For a man to be able to trust a woman he needs to be able to trust her intuition.
A big part of a woman’s awakening journey is about learning how to disentangle the shadow from leeching onto her intuitive insights.
She might have insight that is deeply true and important, but it may get mixed up with her own shadow and unresolved wounding which results in a muddled outcome.
This is not easy, hence why it is called a spiritual journey.
Allow me to give you an example:
She makes him aware of his lack of presence and how he gets stuck in his head.
It then turns into a discussion about how he doesn’t care about her, that he doesn’t actually love her. So at first, she shared her deep intuitive insight but her shadow took over and then it turned into her projecting fears onto him.
Now it becomes more difficult for him to trust her, especially if she doesn’t own her shadow afterwards.
But afterwards, if she says: Baby, I just felt that you weren’t present and fully there with me but what I said about you not loving me, that is my own story and my own fears I have to deal with. Or in short: That was my shadow.
To receive this as a man, is a game changer.
Why?
Because we want to trust you. We want to trust your intuition and when we can see that you own your shadow it brings a deep relaxation to our nervous system. And vice versa of course when we own our shadow with you.
The couples I have taught this were able to entirely shift their communication and really connect in challenging moments.
Women, I invite you to reflect upon the following: Where is your shadow still holding you back from expressing the true depth of your intuition, of your oracle?
Men, do you trust her intuition? If not, why? Is it because of your own wounding, or because you feel that she doesn’t own her shadow? Take some time to reflect on this to allow deeper answers to emerge from within.
