I have worked with people who had everything they could desire and with people who were in the process of realizing their vision. They had one thing in common: they didn’t feel abundant.
Person 1: Was in a loving relationship, and financially free
Person 2: Just had a breakup, was disconnected from their purpose, and struggled with their finances
How can these two people, who are seemingly living in entirely different realities both not feel abundant?
The answer is simple; because our external circumstances have no impact whatsoever on our internal reality of abundance.
Now, of course, good external circumstances do give us a short moment of pleasure or excitement, but the same old scarcity, fears, and feeling unworthy of receiving will resurface unless we choose to go deeper.
Ultimately the question then becomes: what is abundance really if our external circumstances don’t define it?
One way to answer it is: Abundance is an internal energetic state of being.
And the better way of answering it is: You are abundance. Or, you are inherently abundant.
But then why do most of us not feel this way? The answer is: Our shadow. Our shadow thrives on us feeling unworthy, being disconnected from our inherent state of abundance and wholeness.
Imagine for a moment how it would feel to go after your vision in life, create the relationship you want, while feeling abundant and whole most of the time? Life wouldn’t be perfect, there would be challenges as they are part of every life, however, everything would be much easier, you would be more grounded, more centered, more at peace inside yourself.
And now the other way around, going through life feeling unworthy and disconnected from your natural state of abundance makes everything harder and more difficult. Some people have used this as great fuel on their way to success, however, that will not grant anyone freedom and true fulfillment in the long term.
I invite you to pause for a moment, to slow down your breath, and to ask yourself the question:
How would I live life differently if I were to feel abundant and whole? How would I show up differently? What decisions would I make right now?
Really take a moment to feel into this, and ideally, journal or jot down the answers that emerge from within you.
